brock gillman - Lead Pastor
Brock was appointed as the Lead Pastor of Life in the City on July 1, 2018. Prior to LITC, Brock had been Associate Pastor at Gruene UMC since 2015.
Brock is the father of two, Reghan and Sterling. One of Brock's favorite things about living a life of ministry is walking alongside others as they discover their gifts and talents, and watching them live into those gifts to further God's kingdom. He enjoys hanging out with family (dogs included) and any and everything to do with the outdoors.
Chansin Esparza - Associate Pastor & Family Minister
Chansin Esparza serves as our Associate Pastor. She has a background in overseeing connection ministry, youth ministry, journalism, and managing a nonprofit office. She completed a Master of Divinity degree from Truett Seminary at Baylor in 2013, receiving the highest honors of her class. Some of her favorite things about church are LifeGroup discussions, celebrating holidays and milestones together, digging deep into Scripture, and having a family with whom to journey the ups and downs of life. Chansin loves making new friends.
Jason Esparza - Pastor to 20s and 30s
Jason is from Sugar Land, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston. He has been working in the insurance industry for over 14 years. While working, he attended Truett Seminary at Baylor and graduated with a Master of Divinity in December 2015. He has a heart for connecting people to one another and to a deeper relationship with God. Jason plans to continue to serve Life In The City without pay in a bivocational role. He enjoys playing golf and participating in endurance sports. He completed his first Ironman triathlon in 2015. Jason and his wife, Chansin, have a miniature pinscher, a son, and a daughter.
Amy Wendland - Director of Media Tech
In her role as Director of Media Tech, Amy fills a variety of technical and church duties. She has expertise in social media, messaging and collaboration and church membership management. Amy has served in many church leadership roles as an adult group leader, lay speaker, and leadership training facilitator. Amy holds degrees in Theology and Business Management. She has been a professional IT leader for 20 years and currently serves the state of Texas as an IT Director. She and her husband Mark are excited to be a part of the ministries of Life in the City.
Ashley Cuellar - Campus Manager
As Life in the City’s campus manager, Ashley manages the physical needs of the campus as well as the revenue-generating uses of the property with the goal of making Life in the City financially self-sustainable. She also works closely with the music ministry in the area of music administration.
Adam fambrough - business manager
As Life in the City's business manager, Adam is responsible for managing the financial reporting of the church. He works closely with the Lead Pastor, Lead Team, and Finance Team to insure the financial health of the ministries of Life in the City. Adam has been involved in church finances for over 15 years, and previously served as the treasurer for the former Grace UMC. Adam has a degree in Finance from the University of Houston…go Coogs! He is a director in benefits administration with the State of Texas with special focus on implementing new business processes and technology.
Bob Radebaugh - Lead team
Bob Radebaugh serves as a Trustee on the LITC lead team, has been involved with various LITC campus upgrade projects, is currently active in the youth ministry and Men of Measure Life Group, and has previously been active in other life groups where he loves the discussions and relationships developed. Bob is originally from Wisconsin where he graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BBA in Finance before moving to Minneapolis, MN and then Arlington, TX where he completed his MBA in Real Estate from UT-Arlington. He is president of The Aegis Group, Inc. a commercial real estate appraisal company he co-founded in 1987. His wife (Lisa) and two daughters (Sara and Grace) are all active in various ways with LITC.
Pamela Owens - Lead Team
Pamela Benson Owens serves as a member of the lead team, and supports LITC with Human Resources infrastructure and personnel assistance. In addition, Pam oversees the Women of Wonder ministry, occasionally gets selected to play the tambourine or sing with the music ministry, (which brings her great joy), preaches on occasion and has never met an opportunity to deepen her faith that she didn’t like! Proud to call her family Team Owens, she is the proud wife of Arlyn and Mom to two awesome kiddos- Preston and Allyson.
